On October 30th 2022, the International Spiritist Council held the last General Assembly of the year, with the presence of all the countries that compose it.
The Assembly had the following agenda:Reading and prayer; approval of the previous minutes; information about the activities of the CEI in the period from April to October 2022; administrative and financial situation of the CEI; elections for the General Secretariat for the triennium 2023-25 and for the Areas: Study and Practice of Mediumship; Spiritist Social Assistance and Promotion and Spiritual Assistance; administrative issues and final prayer.
The elections for the mentioned positions had the following results:
GENERAL SECRETARY – United States – Jussara Korngold FIRST SECRETARY Spain – Manuel Sonyer SECOND SECRETARY – Portugal – Vitor Féria
STUDY AND PRACTICE OF MEDIUMSHIP – Brazil – Carlos Campetti
SPIRITIST SOCIAL ASSISTANCE AND PROMOTION AREA – Uruguay – Wendy Castañón
SPIRITUAL ASSISTANCE AREA – Guatemala – Anyela Nuñez
It is worth mentioning that the CEI has the affiliation of a new member country, Australia, represented by its Federation – AUSTRALIAN SPIRITIST FEDERATION.
