On April 18, 1857 “The Spirits’ Book”, the foundational work of Spiritism, was released. It is the first of a set of five books, known as “Basic Works”, organized by Allan Kardec (1804-1869). It constitutes a doctrinal body of triple aspect (scientific, philosophical and moral or religious), resulting from the universally consistent information provided by spirits through hundreds of mediums around the world.
Today, 165 years after its release, “The Spirits’ Book” is an inexhaustible compendium of knowledge for the human being, in its integral dimension and, therefore, a timeless book!
